As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that empower data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and explore cutting-edge technologies in the data engineering ecosystem.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize data pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years in Data Engineering (with proven hands-on expertise).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Java preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Streaming Analytics, Data Modelling, and Medallion Architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (Snowflake).
• Knowledge of AWS Kinesis, SNS, SQS for streaming and messaging.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
